On the prairie weather conditions would be described as a soaker, steady rain, not a downpour, just damned wet. Northerly 15-20KPH making the 9C a much cooler experience when outside, can't imagine who wants to be there in these conditions. Same forecast till at least tomorrow, suggesting sun might show on Tuesday.

Rob out the door 0630, must be shipping, works till late morning, then a Grad Food Sale this afternoon. Emily donning rain gear truck arriving on first boat with new inventory for the Garden Centre.

Puddle between here and the seawall has a few dozen gulls taking a bath, an eagle has been travelling overhead putting them up in a hurry. They return as soon as he is out of the airspace.

Unfortunately the weatherman continues to get it correct, heavy rain, strong southerly, temp in mid teens the forecast for the next few days.

Cuts down on the ability to get some yardwork looked after, has been suggested that if a moment of no rain occurs there are some chores that won't take "too long" to scratch off the list.

Unfortunately weatherman has it correct again this morning, a cool 8C, fog making its way up the harbour, showers till the first of next week, no great increase in temps. A large chunk of our 'spring' getting away with poor, but typical Maritime weather that should have been out the door a few weeks ago.

A boat escorted to Seal Cove last evening by DFO, allegedly dragging scallops in the 'Grey Zone' with disregard for lobster gear is one of the allegation...

Unfortunately weatherman has it correct, rain, as in the forecast till Sunday. A draft from SE, the 8C seems much cooler due to the moisture.

A quick trip, as part of a delegation, to Fredericton to visit the Legislature as guests on the floor of the House. The Minister of Tourism requested a presence for the announcement the ANCHORAGE Provincial Park was opening this season with the local BOYS & GIRLS CLUB being the operator. Wooly this morning, can see up the harbour, not quite to the Ross Island shore across. Total calm, 7C, weather forecast telling fog, followed by showers/rain for the remainder of the week. Temps to make it to low double digits, May a dud weather-wise, so far at least.

Rob had a full day, final lobster boat reporting in around 7PM, a little rockweed harvested. Emily had a quiet day at Garden Centre, rain and cool temps not conducive to working in the yard....
