Kakabeka Falls must have seemed equally awesome to early fur traders. But it didn't stop their journey to the west .... they just climbed the gorge, passed the falls . . . and kept on gong!

When I saw the thumbnail I stopped short. i have spent many fun hours years ago picnicing near Kakabeka Falls and even walking on the river when I was low. Thanks for bringing back many neat memories of days long gone. Happy Easter Bev. Arlene

About ThunderBev
ThunderBev I have lived in Northwestern Ontario all my life, and think I am very lucky! In addition to fresh air and changing seasons, there is the opportunity to attempt to catch the beautiful scenery on camera. I say 'attempt', because a picture is not worth a thousand words... the reality can take your breath away. I have always been a shutterbug, however owning a digital camera and discovering Wunderground has motivated me even more. Create your own visitor map!
